Chief Safety Officer

Hire Resolve is currently seeking a Chief Safety Officer to join our client's mining operation based in Gauteng. The Chief Safety Officer will play a key role in ensuring the safety and well-being of employees and promoting a culture of safety excellence throughout the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies, procedures, and initiatives, as well as overseeing safety training and compliance.

1. Manage Health and Safety at Palesa Coal
2. Carry a 2.17.4 legal appointment as per the MHSA (Chief Safety Officer)
3. Formulate and implement Health and Safety strategy at the Mine and establish an effective health and safety culture in the organization
4. Formulate and manage Health and Safety Budget
5. Ensure effective stakeholder engagement process is in place
