About the role
The Chief Resident manage and organise teaching programmes for ward house officers and medical registrars, ensure quality and safety improvement and manage operational and performance-related issues. The role takes ownership of tasks related to recruitment, rosters and leave and is a key contributor to a variety of initiatives, with the opportunity to improve patient experience and outcomes.
