Manage and guide as well as promote and monitor the nursing team to ensure high standard of care is delivered in a safe, effective, efficient, and caring manner.
Organize, direct and coordinate with the other services in the Facility to ensure smooth workflow to always facilitate the continuity of safe and quality patient care; whilst achieving optimal client satisfaction.
Perform daily unit/ward round to:
Visit each patient in the wards if possible
Conduct random night round
Continue to monitor progress of patients especially post‑operative and critical patients
Be informed of potential litigation cases
Visit patient regularly following adverse event
Evaluate nursing care rendered
Advise Unit Manager/Nurse‑In‑Charge where and when necessary
Advise Deputy CNO/NM, unit staff on situational problems encountered on‑site
