A top tear, open cast Mining Company, based in the North West Province, has a great opportunity for a Chief Mine Planning Engineer. The Chief Mine planner will be responsible to oversee and manage the Mine Planning Department. The corporate mine planning cycle must be implemented according to approved procedures. Responsibilities among others includes the annual LTP (Long Term Plan) update, delivering on annual 3 year Budget plan MTP (Medium Term Plan) which is in line with the LTP. The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

•BSc Engineering / B Tech Degree in Mine Engineering

•Minimum of 8 years’ experience as a Long and Medium Term Mine Planning Engineer in open pit technical planning environment,

•Competency in Deswik, Talpac and XPac packages
