An ever expanding and efficient, Manganese Mining Company based in the Northern Cape province, has a challenging opportunity for a Chief Geologist. The ideal candidate will have extensive mine operations management and open cast experience.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

•B.Sc Honours degree in Geology (NQF 8)

•SACNASP AND GSSA registration is essential.

•10 – 15 year’s relevant geology experience

•5 years at a Senior Geologist level.

•Minimum of 6 years’ open cast, iron ore mining experience.

•Software modelling experience is essential (Studio RM and 3D as well as SURPAC)

•Exploration experience is essential.
