Chief Engineer (Crewboat)

The Chief Engineer is responsible for the overall operation, maintenance, and safety of all engine room machinery onboard the vessel. This role ensures that all mechanical and electrical systems are functioning efficiently to support safe and reliable vessel operations.



Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all engine room operations and maintenance

Ensure proper functioning of main engines, generators, and auxiliary systems

Supervise and train engine crew members

Implement planned maintenance systems and repair schedules

Monitor fuel consumption and optimize engine performance

Ensure compliance with maritime safety regulations and company standards

Maintain accurate engine logs and technical reports
