Responsibilities

• Provide invasive and non-invasive cardiac investigations at Band 6 level.
• Implant and follow up complex cardiac resynchronisation therapy (CRM) devices.
• Support new technologies and service developments.
• Assist in training and development of trainee PTP/STP Cardiac Physiologists and associated practitioners.
• Provide education and training to other health service/allied professionals.
• Participate in quality control and technical audit as part of the trust’s clinical governance program.
• Provide a 24‑hour cardiac physiology service by participating in departmental on‑call rota when appropriately trained, working independently and as part of a team.
