Position Overview
R3 Environmental Systems, part of the Municipal Group of Companies, operates an Industrial Wastewater Treatment Facility and is looking for a dedicated individual with a hands-on practicality and knowledge of basic chemistry and laboratory skills to work in their laboratory as a Chemist. This is a full-time position.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Collect, prepare and test water samples using various techniques such as GC/FID/PID, Hach DR6000, Microtox, Dexsel, distillations, etc.Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot analytical equipment.Maintain accurate, real-time records of all laboratory activities Maintain quality control records and perform quality review of data Preparing and testing analytical standards, blanks, etc.Maintain and use the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to record and document all analytical activities during the processing of samples Collect, analyze, and process ...
