Summary You will serve as a Chemist in the Research and Development Group, Research Department, Chemistry Division, Analytical Chemistry Branch of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE. Responsibilities You will write and market proposals to secure project funding, leveraging relationships with research funding sponsors. You will establish basic and applied research in mass spectrometry, including developing instrumentation, enhancing system throughput, and applying these systems to Naval research and development interests. You will improve the speed of synthesis and analysis of novel materials by utilizing high-throughput robotics and novel accelerated reactor systems coupled with mass spectrometry.
