Duties & Responsibilities Review literature to gain an in-depth understanding of concepts, methods, and newdevelopments in the field of chemistry. Use information obtained during literature reviews and external analyses to produce and develop novel ideas. Develop new products through small-scale formulation, pilot plants, and full-scale production. Monitor formulations and give feedback to management on progress. Analyse and write technical reports on the process results. Assist the Chemical Engineering team to refine their existing range of products to improve their quality and production efficiency. Analyse product failure and non-compliance Maintain lab equipment/instrumentation and troubleshoot or report on malfunctions. Ensure compliance with laboratory health and safety guidelines. Routine and non-routine QC analysis for relevant legislation and compliance requirements Stock controlling and stock taking.
