Our client, Hardware Hospitality Operations Pty Ltd t/a Grilled Steak and Seafood Hardware Lane is seeking a Chef to join their team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Preparing daily production list
• Ensuring that all stations remain stocked before and during the meal period
• Verifying that kitchen staff follow all recipes and portion servings correctly
• Keeping kitchen, dish and storage areas clean and organised
• Placing food and supply orders as directed
• Receiving products by verifying invoices and freshness of merchandise
• Assisting with training employees to company standards
• Setting excellent customer service and work examples
• Actively participating as a member of the management team
• Managing staffing levels throughout shift
• Overseeing kitchen labour and food costs to budgetary requirements
