Job Purpose
The Chef de Partie – Pastry Section is responsible for supervising and executing daily pastry production, ensuring consistency, quality and compliance with food safety standards. The role involves preparing a variety of bakery and pastry items, training Commis Chefs, and maintaining smooth operations within the pastry section.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce a wide range of pastries, desserts, cakes and baked goods as per recipes, production schedules and company standards.
- Prepare and cook authentic North Indian dishes according to established recipes, quality standards and presentation guidelines.
- Ensure products meet quality, portion and presentation standards consistently.
- Monitor stock levels, assist in inventory management and report shortages to supervisors.
