Job Description
The CAMH Simulation Centre, embedded in Education at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), is seeking a full-time, temporary (18 months) CH&E Specialist (Simulation Specialist). Reporting to the Manager, CAMH Simulation Centre, the Simulation Specialist will be responsible for adhering to simulation best practices and accreditation standards to design, deliver, and evaluate high-quality, evidence-based simulation education. The Simulation Specialist will lead the development and facilitation of simulation education programming virtually, in-centre and in-situ for interprofessional healthcare professionals, including nurses, allied health, and physicians at CAMH and external partner sites. Through needs assessments, planning, implementation, evaluation and research, the successful candidate will exemplify core competencies as an educator, consultant, practice champion and leader.
