**Job Description**

**Mount Sinai South Nassau is currently seeking a Chair of Psychiatry!**

The Chair will work to ensure that mental health services are developed and managed in accordance with MSSN’s mission, strategic direction and business position. The Chair of Psychiatry will direct activities of the mental health staff and ensure that mental health services are delivered in accordance with Mount Sinai South Nassau’s policies and procedures, New York State regulations and guidelines, funder guidelines, and established best practices in mental health.

**Qualifications**

+ MD Degree with Board Certification in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry or Psychiatry
+ Medical Degree from an Accredited University
+ New York Medical License
+ Committed to Mount Sinai South Nassau and the communities we serve
