Position Overview
Summary This position is located in the Division of Complex Institution Supervision and Resolution (CISR), of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and supports resolution planning for insured depository institutions (IDIs) with total assets over $100 billion and nonbank financial companies whose failure could threaten the stability of the U.S. financial system. The duty location is determined upon selection. Responsibilities At the full performance level, major duties include: Analyze financial institution resolution strategies, under a variety of legal regimes, to address topics including restructuring, recapitalization, mergers and acquisitions, wind down and liquidation for the largest and most complex financial institutions. Develop and communicate highly technical information, both orally and in writing, to audiences within and outside the Division, including senior FDIC officials, peers and management of other domestic and foreign authorities as well as private sector execut...
