**Shift/Schedule**

+ Full Time - Scheduled for 40 Weekly Hours (8 Hour Shifts)
+ Shift Times - Rotating (1st Shift - 6:30a-3p, 2nd Shift - 2:30p-11p, 3rd Shift - 10:30p-7a)
+ Rotating Call Schedule

**Primary Function/General Purpose of Position**

The Surgical Tech Certified Cardiac Team assists surgeons and nurses with patients, equipment preparation, aseptic technique, and gathering patient and case specific supplies and equipment. The Surgical Tech Certified Cardiac Team will prepare the operating room surgery by assembling routine supplies, materials, instruments, and equipment, and will obtain special supplies indicated by physician. The Surgical Tech Certified Cardiac Team also sets up and operates a variety of specialized instrumentation, manual and powered equipment.
