Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant – Full Time – Inpatient Adult Rehabilitation
Responsibilities:
Job Summary: The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is responsible for administering physical therapy treatment plans designed to alleviate pain, restore function, prevent disabilities, and promote overall fitness and health of patients.
Implements treatment most appropriate to the patient’s learning style and therapeutic needs, communicating goals with the patient and/or family members, considering psycho-social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and/or families based on plan of care developed by the Occupational Therapist.Provides therapeutic interventions for a wide variety of physical and/or functional limitations related to, but not limited to musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiovascular, and developmental impairments, documenting progress with measurable and functional goals.Maintain patient records according ...
