Summary

This position is responsible for assisting the professional nurse in the delivery of patient care. Under the direction of the professional nursing staff the NAR provides personal care for assigned patients and is an integral part of the patient care team.

Job Duties


+ Assists with the needs and comfort of patients including hygiene, nutrition, activity and treatments in accordance with the policies and procedures of Mille Lacs Health System.

+ Observes patients and communicates changes and/or needs to the Team Leader.

+ Documents patient cares in the Electronic Medical Record. Cares include, but not limited to; vital signs, intake/output, meals, and activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, transferring, continence).
