The Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialist (CIPSS) is an active member of Spurwink Mental Health Center's Interdisciplinary Treatment Team and works in a seamless manner across each of its' adult psychiatric services.
DUTIES:
+ Engage program participants through direct contact and support.
+ Coach participants towards developing satisfying, hopeful, and fulfilling lives as defined by the program participant.
+ Maintain records, EHR, and documentation as required by Spurwink or State Agencies.
+ Creates and maintains working relationships with community health providers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialist (CIPSS) certification and/or Certified Recovery Coach certification preferred. Peer support work experience required.
