Adecco Medical & Science is assisting a local client in their search to hire a **Certified Dental Assistant** in Newark, NJ.

Type: Temp to perm

Shift: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, (35 hour work week, 1 hour lunch break)

The anticipated wage for this position is between $23/hr. - 26/hr.

Certification/licenses: CDA and/or X-ray license

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Seat patients, adjusts chairs and drapes patients with protective covers.
+ Sets up each unit with proper supplies and instruments needed by postgraduate students during daily patient treatment.
+ Performs Four-handed assisting with doctor during examination and treatment of patients.
+ Operates suction equipment.
+ Mixes endodontic and restorative materials.
+ Maintains all dental instruments and equipment.
+ Maintain cleanliness of clinic and dispensary area following OSHA regulations.
