[What the role is]
A Centre Manager oversees day-to-day operations and run programmes within the centre. They coordinate cross-centre and cross-sector programmes, and take on operational, HR, and finance management responsibilities for the centre. They monitor and strive to achieve key indicators of the centreβs impact and financial health, as part of achieving the overall organisation strategy.
An excellent communicator to both internal and external stakeholders, the Centre Manager provides leadership to all staff when managing incidents/problems, ensuring that all issues are resolved satisfactorily and timely.
Assistant Directors / Senior Assistant Directors / Deputy Directors are expected to lead the formulation of strategies for sub-departments or units, in order to support the department and organisation's overall strategies.
