The primary responsibility of the Central Scheduler is:
* Order Entry for Lab and Radiology
* Result retrieval and report printing
* Quick registrations for Lab
* Scan Providers notes and Consent forms
* Phone operating screening for multiple departments
* Check EMR for all laboratory and radiology orders
* Making CDs of patient images as required
An ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
* Medical Terminology Recommended
* Insurance Knowledge Required
* Working in a hospital (or scheduling) setting 1-2 years recommended.
