Position Summary


SHIFT: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:00PM
Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair combined heat and power and chilled water systems and connected equipment to perform safely and efficiently; perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance duties and routines. Perform routine and emergency maintenance on high temperature hot water, chilled water and electrical distribution piping, valves and controls throughout the NYU portfolio of properties. Perform housekeeping, painting, labeling etc on plant equipment and systems. Complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently utilizing good work practice as part of a maintenance team or working independently with minimal supervision. Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnosis on plant equipment, systems and controls. Correct and repair advanced mechanical, electrical and instrumentation faults on plant equipment.
