HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver – Temp to Perm
Monday to Friday | Local & Regional Deliveries
We are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver on behalf of our client in the Torbay area. Deliveries could be local or regional, with long days involved.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.
The Role: Delivering products to Trade and Direct customers locally and regionally
Ensuring loads are safely secured and deliveries completed safely and on time
Checking goods with customers and completing delivery paperwork
Manual handling and some heavy lifting involved
Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and managing tachograph records in line with legislation
Following all company health & safety procedures
Working alone or as part of a dual-manned crew
Monday to Friday with start times from 02:00 dependant on destination.
Occasional nights out required (overnight bonus paid) Requirements: Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
