AIM AND PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The purpose of the role is to ensure high levels of customer service are maintained throughout all services, to monitor and supervise catering assistants to maintain high standards of cleaning and hygiene.
To maintain health, safety and hygiene within the department and operate within the law to meet EHO requirements.
KEY ROLES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
To Implement agreed standards for the provision of all the café services.
To supervise staff in the service of hot and cold foods, beverages, and confectionery.
To ensure standards of food safety and hygiene and to co-operate with Environmental Health Officer.
To ensure that all legal requirements including Health and Safety, COSHH, Food Hygiene, Consumer and Discrimination Law are met and be able to demonstrate allergen awareness and control.
