Role Description/Criteria

Aquinas College wishes to employ a dynamic, suitably qualified or experienced Learning Support Officer on a casual basis, commencing as soon as possible. Working under the direction of Learning Support Teachers and with the support of the Director of Education Support Services, the preferred candidate will be enthusiastic and keen to engage with, inspire and support students with different learning styles and additional needs.

Qualifications

• Availability for regular engagements both at short notice and when scheduled in advance (ie. permanent staff leave coverage)
• Relevant experience and skills and a strong interest in supporting students' learning
• Experience supporting students with significant academic, social, emotional and/or physical needs together with a willingness to support students' personal care requirements
