We have an opportunity for casual staff to join our team. We host a range of events at The Great Yorkshire Events Centre, from trade shows, to gala dinners and everything in between. The Great Yorkshire Events Centre also has an important role to play in the Great Yorkshire Show, hosting the Home & Gift Hall, the Food Hall and the Cheese & Dairy Show. We host around 3 events a month, and often require a team of casual staff to support our core team.

This role is not a full or part time role due to the nature of the events business.

This is a hands on role, and will require a certain degree of physical work. As our events are ever changing, it would not be possible to provide an exhaustive list of tasks, however listed below are some of the core duties for the casual bank of workers:

• Laying out furniture according to plans
• Assisting with waste management within the venue
• Cleaning of the venue, including use of cleaning machines
