Position Overview
A. Technical Efficiency
- Handles cash, credit or check transactions with customers
- Ensures pricing is correct
- Issues change, receipts, charge slips or refunds
- Manages up-to-date clinic income records by sending and receiving bank checks and documenting all relevant transactions
- Counts money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
- Ensures compliance with the guidelines and policies of Cash Management to minimize audit findings
B. HMO Facilitation
- Facilitates Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) approvals
C. Customer Relations
- Assists in managing customer queries
D. Administrative Efficiency
- Submits daily and weekly Census
