Job Summary:
The Cashier is responsible for handling daily cash transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring proper cash management in compliance with company policies. The role also involves coordinating with banks, managing exchange-related transactions, and supporting financial operations within a trading environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, handle, and record cash, cheques, and other payment transactions accurately
- Maintain daily cash balance and prepare cash reports
- Issue receipts for all payments received
- Deposit cash and cheques in the bank as per company procedures
- Verify and reconcile cash transactions at the end of each day
- Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions
- Assist in preparing financial reports when required
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures
