Position Overview
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials for furniture, cabinetry, and other wood structures with precision
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical specifications to ensure accurate construction
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and measurement equipment safely and effectively (e.g., saws, hammers, rulers)
- Cut and shape timber or other materials according to specific measurements and job requirements
- Perform installation and finishing work for custom-made furniture and fittings
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Ensure work is completed to a high standard of quality and within the project timeline
Requirements - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in furniture carpentry or related field
