**Description**

**General Summary**

Necessary carpentry duties include, but are not limited to, building woodwork and equipment such as bins, cribs, counters, benches, partitions, doors, floors, stairs, casings, and trim made of wood.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

+ Plan and layout of projects
+ Work from blueprints, drawings, models, or verbal instructions
+ Install and repair a variety of shelving, cabinetry, walls, floors, restroom stalls, vanities, tile, vinyl, equipment supports, and related facility hardware
+ Use of carpentry, masonry, and roofing methods, techniques, and tools
+ Selection of necessary materials and methods for the job
+ Training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience, 5-7 years of relevant work experience
