Job Summary
Reporting to the Trade Supervisor and/or Manager, the incumbent is responsible for carpentry related work.
Key Responsibilities
Performs general maintenance and renovations work pertaining to Carpenter’s tradeInstalls floors, walls, ceilings, shelves, partitions, doors, glass, hardware, formwork, etc., and associated materialsConstructs and installs custom cabinetry and millworkErects, dismantles and works from various types of scaffolding and liftsPerforms all duties in accordance with the current Nova Scotia Occupational Health & Safety Act, as well as University and Government rules and regulationsMaintains a clean work environmentPerforms other duties as required Note
