Overview

Fort McKay First Nation is seeking a motivated and multitasked oriented individual who is flexible and works well in a team environment to fill a full-time permanent carpenter position. The carpenter performs skilled journeyperson level work for in home repair and new home projects at FMFN in accordance with industry standards and to ensure safety, functionality, and efficiency.

Work involves a variety of construction, renovation, maintenance, or repair duties, requiring skill, precision, experience and knowledge of trade practices to produce refined work products.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry work for in home repair and new home projects.
• Perform renovation projects under the direction of the Housing Manager.
• Repair and install new cabinets, doors and windows as needed.
