A friendly and welcoming primary school in Newton Heath, Manchester is working in partnership with a recruitment agency to appoint a reliable and proactive Caretaker on a long-term supply basis, starting from July. This is a split shift role, working Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 9:30am and 2:30pm to 6:00pm, providing essential site support at the start and end of each school day.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe, clean and secure environment for pupils, staff and visitors. Daily responsibilities will include opening and locking the premises, carrying out routine maintenance checks, ensuring the building and grounds are well presented, managing basic repairs, and supporting health and safety procedures across the site.
