**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

Dignity Health Medical Group is seeking a full-time Cardiovascular Department Chair to join our established and growing employed practice in Prescott, AZ.

+ Conducts clinical, administrative and quality oversight of YRMG cardiology providers within the Department.
+ Commitment to clinical work as a 0.8 FTE and 0.2 administrative FTE.
+ Establishes standards and protocols for evidence-based cardiovascular medicine within the Department.
+ Determines the immediate, intermediate and long-term goals for the Cardiology Department in alignment with Department strategy.
+ Conducts annual performance reviews of cardiology providers and supports their professional development.
+ Works with YRMG chief medical officer to continuously improve cardiovascular quality and patient experience.
+ Models leadership traits to section chiefs and all practitioners within the Cardiology Department.
