Job Summary: Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, is excited to welcome a skilled Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join us. Our cardiac team shares call equally (1:6) from home with no in-house call responsibility. Weekend and holiday cardiac call is also shared equally by the group. Mission Hospital s cardiac program is the second busiest in the state of NC, yet our team enjoys the camaraderie of a much smaller group. We have 4 highly capable CV surgeons performing 1400 bypass annually, 300-400 lung cases, TAVR, LVAD, ECMO, and lots of valves. Our cases do not include pediatric hearts and we don t do transplants. We are a care team model, so our physicians supervise cardiac specialty CRNAs.
Qualified Candidates:
* Will be board certified/eligible in Cardiac Anesthesiology and have the ability to be licensed in NC.
