Position Summary

Under the leadership of the Department Assistant Director and Director, the Cancer Registrar Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) Supervisor will provide overall supervision of the Cancer Registry that includes providing direction, priorities, productivity, appraisal and counseling of its staff while being responsible for managing and analyzing clinical cancer information for the purpose of processing, maintain, compiling and reporting health information for research, quality management/improvement, monitoring patient outcomes, cancer program development, cancer prevention and surveillance, survival data, compliance of reporting standards, evaluation of the results of treatment, and national accreditation standards.
