Job Description

The Perkinston Campus Police Officer will report directly to the Chief of Campus Police. The successful candidate will ensure the safety of the campus community by maintaining law and order on campus and enforcing the College rules and regulations and Laws of the State of Mississippi. The officer will investigate campus incidents such as larcenies, vandalism, disturbances, as well as respond to all campus emergencies. Job Duties SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. All officers will answer directly to the Chief of Police.
2. Must be available to work all shifts and weekends. This includes sporting events and any other event college wide.
3. Arrive on time for duty and be well groomed, clean, and neat in uniform.
4. All officers will be armed and applicant must qualify with his or her duty weapon.
5. Officer must attend all training and meetings as prescribed by the Chief of Police.
