About the School of Architecture & Planning
The School of Architecture & Planning (SoAP) is among the premier institutions of education on the African continent, is home to internationally recognised academics, works with numerous international partners, and has produced graduates who have made outstanding contributions to the fields of architecture and planning in South Africa and around the world.
The School has a staff of approximately 40 people and a student body in professional and other degrees of over 600. It is one of only four architectural and planning programmes on the African continent that are ranked among the top 200 programmes in the world.
