Position Overview
Prepare detailed alignment drawings for highway and railway projects, including: Typical cross-sections and running cross-sectionsLongitudinal profilesHorizontal alignment plansStrip plansLWR & CWR plans (railway works)Develop and maintain 2D/3D design models using AutoCAD and Civil 3D in accordance with approved design criteria.Assist design engineers in geometric design development, quantity take-offs, and BOQ preparation.Work with and manage multiple design inputs, including: Survey data (total station, DGPS, LiDAR where applicable)Alignment geometry dataDigital Terrain Models (DTM) and surface modelsGIS base maps and utility dataPoint files, corridor models, and reference drawingsEnsure all drawings comply with applicable standards and guidelines, including but not limited to: IRC and MoRTH specifications for highway projectsIRPWM, IRSOD, and RDSO guidelines for railway projectsClient-specific technical requirements and internal QA/QC standar...
