Job Duties
Under general supervision, the sucessful candidate will:
Receives, tests, prepares and repairs downhole cable for submersible pumps and motor equipment for use in the field.
Receives cable from field or manufacturer and carries out tests to ensure proper function in the field. Performs grounding tests, locates bad spots and makes repairs.
Will splice additional cable if required on a motor lead and add to surface cable.
