Psychiatrist

Psychiatrist needed on the Central Coast close to Half Moon Bay. Psychiatrist needed to initiate treatment when appropriate and to refer back to primary care for ongoing medication management of stable patients. For the more complex or unstable patient population, you may follow patients on an ongoing basis. The community of patients are mostly dual diagnosis patients, many of them homeless. Position is full time- 40 hours per week, M-F. 4/10 schedule is a possibility. Average of 9 patients per day, 60 minute initial intakes, 30 minute follow-ups. Electronic Medical record is Epic. Minimal call schedule that is compensated appropriately. This is a great position for any MD that enjoys giving back to citizens in our community.
