Our manufacturing client has a need for a Buyer for their Woodbury, NY office. This is a permanent onsite position.

Responsibilities
Serve as liaison between engineering, suppliers, warehouse, and customers by responding to specification questions, setting up suppliers with accounting, coordinating international purchase orders and logistics, managing weights/dimensions, tariffs, pickup scheduling and tracking, overseeing customer shipments, processing invoicing, and partnering with the warehouse manager to ensure timely order fulfilllment. Obtain quotes from vendors and suppliers, negotiate pricing as appropriate for project needs, and organize quote information for pricing review. Source new vendors or suppliers and maintain existing relationships for reliability and growth.
