Our client provides design and manufacturing solutions that support a wide range of industries through custom-built components and systems, and they are hiring a Materials Manager to take ownership of purchasing, supplier relationships, and inventory control to support production operations in a hands-on role that directly impacts cost, efficiency, and production flow.


What You’ll Be Doing

+ Manage procurement of raw materials, components, and outside services to support production

+ Source and negotiate with domestic and international suppliers (China experience a plus)

+ Review quotes and select vendors based on cost, lead time, and quality

+ Create and manage purchase orders, track open POs, and communicate with production

+ Monitor and manage inventory levels (raw materials, finished goods, purchased parts)

+ Analyze material requirements to ensure uninterrupted production flow
