We have a great opportunity with one of our clients who is adding to their team due to recent growth! In this role, you will be responsible for buying parts and materials --ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with organizational needs.


Responsibilities:


Import/Export experience in procurement and would love background in Aviation

▪Manage procurement activities -- including import and export

▪Negotiate pricing, contracts and strategic sourcing initiatives

▪Ensure cost reduction goals are met

▪Create purchase orders and work closely with Accounts Payable for on-time payment

▪Ensure goals are met within supply chain team

▪Maintain master tracking spreadsheet and work daily in ERP system

▪Collaborate with internal customer support team and external partners -- strong communication is a must.

▪Act as back-up to accounts payable (when needed)
