Job Description:

This role is responsible for sourcing materials and vendor pricing during the bid phase, ensuring alignment with project scope, specifications,

and regulatory requirements. A strong understanding of commercial procurement practices, municipal project requirements, and vendor capabilities is critical to mitigating risk and delivering competitive bids.

Job Responsibilities:
Bid Support

+ Source vendor pricing for electrical, mechanical, and process equipment

+ Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to define scope

+ Evaluate supplier quotes for accuracy, completeness, and compliance

+ Identify risks, gaps, and cost drivers early in the bid process

Commercial Knowledge

+ Provide insight on market pricing, lead times, and supply constraints

+ Understand contract structures (lump sum, unit rate, EPC/turnkey)
