Position Overview
In this Role, You Will Focus On:
Handle procurement activities for direct materials and project requirements for the Power and Water Solutions Business, ensuring timely availability of materials and services. Drive commercial negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors covering pricing, quality, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contractual agreements. Identify and implement cost optimization initiatives through strategic sourcing, supplier development, rate contracts, and alternate vendor identification. Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Projects, Planning, Finance, and Global Procurement teams to support business objectives and successful project execution. Prepare techno-commercial comparison statements, obtain approvals in line with procurement policies, and ensure timely release and documentation of purchase orders in SharePoint.
