Duties Description The Business Systems Analyst 1 with the Division of Technology and Innovation is responsible for assisting in the definition and development of requirements for enhancements or changes to business processes, computer systems, and related technologies. The primary duties include, but are not limited to:
• Support end-user proficiency with new systems, programs, and applications with business units.
• Work with NYS ITS or vendors in implementing new advancements in the field of system and end-user technical support.
• Determine system efficiency and functionality by liaising with internal departments and end-users.
• Work with business units on performing system analysis on solutions/applications.
• Document all procedures and update them as necessary.
• Work with NYS ITS or vendors on tracking priority requests as well as incidents.
• Gather needed requirements and work with Lead BA on implementation.
