Description
The Business Service Representative (BSR) plays a vital role in the Veterans First Employment Services Program, serving as a liaison between Veterans seeking employment, JVS SoCal's workforce services, and the employer community. The BSR is responsible for developing and executing targeted job-placement strategies to ensure Veterans secure meaningful, sustainable employment.
This position requires strong relationship-building skills, knowledge of labor markets, and a passion for supporting Veterans. The BSR engages employers, identifies hiring needs, and develops workforce solutions-including customized training, apprenticeships, and On-the-Job Training opportunities. They also support participants directly with individualized job preparation, career guidance, and job matching.
