Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in the South East London is looking to recruit a Business Rates Officer to a full range of collection and debt recovery on overdue Business Rates debts. This is a permanent part-time opportunity, working 26 hours per week with the flexibility of hybrid working. Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:

• Proficiently use the Academy (Capita) Revenues and Benefits processing System
• Administer the Billing, Collection and Recovery of Business Rates
• Make decisions on COVID-19 Business Support Grant Applications
• Maintain and update Business Rates records to allow for accurate Billing and Collection of outstanding monies
• Open, close and amend accounts
• Take payments and set up direct debits
